ClipperCreek offers 6 UL listed products (3 models, each with 2 configurations). Our products also meet the requirements of the other standards organizations including NEC, cUL and SAE.

Market Leadership
ClipperCreek has worked with many of the worlds largest automakers and is the exclusive provider of EVSE chargers for BMW’s Mini-E as well as the exclusive provider to Tesla for Level 2 EVSE charging stations. We’ve produced over 9,000 units for customers.

ClipperCreek’s Executive Team helped develop some of the original SAE standards for electric vehicles and manufacturers continue to rely on ClipperCreek for insight and thought leadership.

Hassle-Free Performance
Our patented system of reclosure software technology, “self tests” the charge station to ensure that it is ready to go. ClipperCreek’s best in class approach means:
 •    reliable charge every time
 •    fewer service calls due to nuisance circuit tripping
 •    reduced equipment wear or damage from repeated tripping
 •    trouble-free operation for charger owners

Speed
ClipperCreek’s software based technology together with its understanding of UL requirements allows ClipperCreek to quickly design products to suit customers needs, get them UL listed and bring these products to market either manufacturing in-house or with a world class contract manufacturer.

Smart Grid Ready
ClipperCreek’s products are designed to integrate into the utilities “smart grid” applications. ClipperCreek’s products will allow utilities to communicate with the charge station from the utility’s operations center to manage load, pricing and other variables.

ClipperCreek incorporates all utility recommended practices to ensure its products have minimal impact on the electrical grid. As utilities rollout the smart grid and AMI integration, we’ll be ready.

Eaton Corporation Now Shipping Two Level II EVSE Models

Eaton provides one of the most robust, flexible offering of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) on the market. The newest offering is teh 240VAC Level 2 Residential model, suitable for homes and garages and also available with a pedestal option.
Eaton’s Pow-R-Station family of solutions is the electric transportation industry’s premier EVSE for commercial and public locations.

Both electric vehicle chargers are NEMA 3R-rated for indoor or outdoor use—they can be wall-mounted for residential or commercial garage installations, or it can be installed as a freestanding pedestal for outdoor use. They are designed with steel housing and is built for durability and long life. The Pow-R-Station can be operated as a standalone power station, or it can be networked with other power stations that will be operated or managed by one entity.

Using an industry standard J1772E 30A or 70A connector, depending on battery size, the Level 2 charger will easily fill a depleted all-electric vehicle battery in three to four hours while the owner is working, shopping or sleeping.

Eaton Level III Pow-R-Station DC Quick Charger

Eaton is focused on creating innovative and affordable technologies that help customers reduce their impact on the environment.
Eaton has been developing electrical and hybrid power systems for trucks and buses for more than 20 years and, with this experience, is now moving into hybrid power systems for commercial vehicles. Eaton is the only company to offer hybrid-electric, as well as two hybrid hydraulic system technologies, and the charging infrastructure for commercial and residential applications. Eaton offers a complete line of electric vehicle (EV) chargers for residential and industrial application and has a presence in communities across North America. General Electric

Electricity will fuel the vehicles of tomorrow. For every 10,000
gas-powered car users that switch to electric vehicles (EV), CO2 emissions would be reduced by 33,000 metric tons per year — equivalent to the annual CO2 emissions of 6,500 traditional cars on U.S. roads. Electric vehicles have the potential to revolutionize transportation. However in order to see widespread EV adoption, the electrical grid must be modernized and charging stations must be accessible, quick and easy.

GE’s electric vehicle charger, GE WattStation, is designed to help address
these challenges by significantly decreasing time needed for vehicle charging, and using smart grid technology to allow utility companies to

manage the impact EVs have on the local and regional grids.

Combining functionality with consumer friendly form, from renowned industrial designer Yves Behar, on average the WattStation decreases EV charging time from 12-18 hours to as little as 4-8 hours compared to standard charging, assuming a 24 kWh battery and a full-cycle charge. Also the design allows for integration into a “smart” electrical distribution system, offering an “end-to-end” integrated EV infrastructure solution of electrical distribution products.
